Bob cites awesome wisdom from Holy Scripture, and explains thoroughly and lovingly that the Christian walk is not simply about salvation, but even more about having the Holy Spirit come to live within us. The Scripture references alone are worth more than the price of the book. Countless human stories of the glorious power of the Lord in our lives drive home the messages of God’s Word.

Classic Christianity is the second title I have read by Bob George. Now I understand why so many people have shown interest in this author.
George addresses a problem that is prevalent in Christian circles today: legalism. Far too many people have found salvation through faith in Christ alone, only to be enslaved by a long list of religious duties and spiritual obligations. George brings his readers back to the Scriptural basics here. He repeatedly makes the point that God saves us and KEEPS us saved through grace alone.
I recommend Classic Christianity highly to all Christians, especially those believers from conservative or fundamentalist backgrounds. George proclaims God’s Biblical truth about salvation and sanctification. In doing so, he sets his readers free. David, West Virginia

I have just finished reading Classic Christianity and want to thank you for sending it to me. I was born again at 14. I accepted Jesus into my heart with the understanding of Jesus dying on the cross for my sins. I never really knew the whole truth. Like in the book, that is only half the gospel.
